Thank you 'Rose' for the comment. The wazifas are, indeed, a wonderful legacy of Inayat Khan's teachings. Arabic is an ancient language where the expression of Divine aspiration is so comfortable.
so fortunate to have the opportunity to sing some of the wazifas with jelaluddin & fazalunissa occasionally. the beauty & apparent simplicity of the music & the resonant sound of arabic (which i don’t speak) vibrates through the body as we sing imbuing us with something beyond meaning…
